Consumer confidence posts larger fall in August

The ANZ-Roy Morgan Vietnam Consumer Confidence index slid 4.9 points to 133.7 points in August, 1.8 points lower than a year ago. The decline was caused by reduced confidence across all components of the survey. In terms of personal finances, just one third of respondents (31 per cent) said their families are ‘better off’ financially than the same time last year.
